And the first thing that should be done is the yard cause oh my, it’s quite neglected. As such, I’m researching grass … and there is a lot to know about it. There’s more to it than “just grass” … all the types, control, and maintenance … for example, did you know:

Common cool-season grasses include:

  • Bentgrasses
  • Bluegrasses
  • Fescues
  • Ryegrasses

Among the common warm-season grasses are:

  • Bermudagrass
  • Buffalograss
  • Zoysiagrass
  • Centipedegrass
  • Bahiagrass
  • St. Augustinegrass

Plus lawns are not always composed of just one type of grass, but rather of a mixture, to take advantage of the strengths of each type.
